Happy Holi to all our Readers..... Here i am with unlocking method of one of the most popular Huawei Modem and in collabaraion with MetFone. This unlocking method is using DC Unlocker as we did in last many ZTE Modems and this has a newer version of DC Unlocker.
How to Unlock E173 MetFone Modem :
Downloads Required :
DC Unlocker Software 1.00.0805
Specifications :
1. Firmware Version of Your Modem : 11.126.16.04.592
2. Firmware Update For Your Modem : 11.126.85.00.209

3. Dashboard Update : Mobile Partner Ultimate
Unlocking Method :
1. First and Foremost Insert your Modem and let it install all its drivers.
2. Once the Dashboard Opens it means drivers are been installed.
3. Now close the Dashboard of Your Modem and Run the Software you Downloaded DC Unlocker.
4. Just Follow the steps Mentioned here :

Hi Jaymin,
Do you have the firmware for Hauwei modem model E173S-2 to support tablet?
Currently modem firmware is 21.017.10.00.00 that cannot support tablet, pls help

Just update the firmware and it will be unlocked.
