The routers which was most common in using public servers for internet use are been developed wireless. Now in this post i will describe different terminologies used for such devices. Many of ModemIndia readers want to learn most of the things for unlocking modems for that they need to learn some terminologies about modems.
Here is the list of some important terminologies :

1. Modem : Many of you would be familiar with this word in your studies or somewhere in your everyday life. Modem is known as modulator demodulator. It modulates an analog carrier signal to encode digital information. They send some amount of data and recieves data in turns so they are classified on the basis of amount of sending data. Now modems available in market are 3.6mbps , 7.2 mbps & 21.1 mbps , these send the specified amount of data and been classified according to it.

2. Firmware Update : Now comes firmware , this term is used for mobile phones too. We can say it is the version of your modem. You need to change the modem version in order to unlock the modems. Firmware can be upgraded and downgraded as per the need.

3.Dashboard : Any modem is loaded with a software which gives a platform to connect your modem to internet. Dashboard or connection manager helps your modem to connect to the internet. It can be updated as per your convenience but its very important to check the compatibility before updating the dashboard of any modem.

4. DC Unlocker : The most widely used software for unlocking modems. Dc Unlocker is the most reliable unlocking company which helps to unlock many of the modems and mobile phones too.

5. Huawei Code Calculator : Its a software which calculates unlock code of your modem you just need to enter the 16 digit IMEI number of your modem. The unlock code and flash code are unique for every modem and it is used to directly unlock some modems or for the firmware update process.

Hey friends sorry for being so late in posting a new article. I saw many recent comments and most of them are having problems with connection wizard. Some are having problem with dashboard installation and some can't open their dashboards due to some problem. Now here is a simple trick for connecting any modem without the use of dashboard or connection manager. Many of you would have nokia PC Suite or any other mobile phone connector. Here in this post i will show how to connect any modem using Nokia PC Suite. So for this mainly you need Nokia PC Suite and if you don;t have download it or borrow from some friend because many people must be using this for their nokia phones as it is the most popular brand in India.

Steps To Connect : 


1. Download Nokia PC Suite to your Computer and Install it if you Don't have installed.


2. Open Nokia PC Suite and click on Connect to Internet.


3. Now GOTO Settings as shown in the snapshot.






4. Click on Next as you see Huawei Mobile Connect.






5. Now Click on Next and configure the Internet Settings Manually.






6. Now Feed the Access Point Name of the network you want to use for connecting.

7. Now finish the Connection setup and click on Connect.

In my Last Post I described about the firmware update of Huawei E3765 and its other Dashboard Downloads. Now here in this post i will show how to convert K3765 into E1762 so it can be used with other SIM Operators ie Unlocking the modem. To convert this modem into E1762 all you need to do is update the firmware in accordance with K3765. Here are the Steps you need to follow to update the firmware of the modem.

3. IMEI Number Of the Modem.


Firmware Updating Method :


1. Firstly Download All the Things Required for this Process.


2. Now run the Firmware Update which we Downloaded. The First Screen will appear like this.
Just Accept the Terms And Conditions and click On Next.




3. Now the setup will search for the device for which we need to update the firmware and as it searches the screen will appear like this.

In my last post i described the steps to update dashboard of any Huawei Modem. We have uploaded a latest Mobile Partner Ultimate dashboard which contains all APN's so its much easier for Modem User's because they need not to create profile. sometimes for some internet tricks we need to change the access point name of any profile so for that we need to create a new profile or edit any existing profile. Also some of the old dashboard use should know how to create a new profile in any Huawei Dashboard.

A simple Dashboard installation tutorial for all my viewers because many of you are not familiar with these terms. In my last post i have posted Mobile Partner Ultimate Dashboard. Here are the steps to Install it on your Modem.

Install/Update Mobile Partner Dashboard with your Modem's Default Dashboard :


1. Download your favourite dashboard from any of the above two dashboard's in downloads.
2. Plugin your Modem in your Laptop/Desktop and let it load its drivers.
3. Now close the Dashboard and make sure you haven't minimized it.
4. Now Open the Dashboard Installer you have Downloaded.





8. Hence the Updation is done. Now click Finish to Open Your New Dashboard.

Note : If your Dashboard is not closed (In Step 3) this setup won't be able to search your device and will show Error 12.
