Huawei E353 is the newest USB Modem in market with awesome looks and slim body. Huawei E353 is a very high speed USB Modem supporting 3.5G and is the latest modem in market. Are you 100% sure that the E353 is compatible with 2G network also??
In several website reviews it shows that it works only in 3G and not support 2G

No dude its by mistake it does not support 2G network it works only in 3G. There has been some mistake by me while writing this post.

See i heard many complaints about Huawei UMG1831 that it gets heated up and is not consistant in its speed. So i prefer Huawei E182E as configurations of both modems are nearly same.

My problem is i accidentally flashed it with huawei e367 firmware, makes it unusable for now, but it can still be flashed i just need the firmware file to reinstall it again to e353u firmware.

Hi Jaymin, what kind of external antenna does it accept ? I have a clip antenna for usb 3g modem with crc9 connection. Can it be fitted into this modem ?
